Freestyle Walker 604 UL

Kuying has made a name for itself in the world of Ultra-Light fishing, especially in the Bait Finesse universe. In addition to the most popular Ultra-Light rod "Teton", Kuying has been constantly expanding its line and has added another special rod to the "Freestyle Walker" series. The series is well known for 4 piece traveler rods and a very a super-strong but-joint 65XH/F heavy rod. The 604 UL was introduced on the back of the very successful 704 L and 694 M.

The 604 UL (6 ft 4 section rod) is a nicely packed, lightweight, and fast action UL rod. The Casting model weighs in at 74g and the Spinning model at 75g. The rod is rated for Lure 1-7g (nice wide range) and Line 2-6lb (recommended sub PE1.0, preferably PE0.8, 0.6 or 0.4). The length of the handle is nice and short, makes the rod feel like its an extension of the arm. The recommend is well-balanced and can be used for a wide range of fishing styles - Minnows, Soft Plastic, Top Water, Jigs.

The rod has been put to work in Hong Kong and has battled and survived many clashes, especially with saltwater specimens like Red Drum (Red Fish), Mangrove Jacks, Barramundi etc. The has a nice bend when under pressure and is powerful enough to put some 'Reel' pressure.

The rod comes in the new casing, using the lovely soft foam-like material with 4 individual compartments to store the pieces.
